What is a palindrome?
It is a text, which can also be just one word that makes the same sense when read forwards or backwards.
I understood the challenge immediately. The song to the book should sound exactly the same when you play it backwards. Try it out!

Two old schoolmates meet up in a restaurant after 25 years and talk about what they have experienced in this quarter of a century. The two want to score points with made-up stories – and it seems to work, at least until dessert. Bob is a scriptwriter and always comes up with something exciting. But he doesn’t expect his school and dinner companion André to be a private detective who is always well-informed. So the reader learns four life stories told by two people. And what about Palindrome? Was it Eliot’s toilet I saw?

Nie Wein!
Bob said, looking at his half-full wine glass with half-open eyes.
Do you think we should have ordered beer? André asked.
No, you have to drink white wine with fish and seafood, it goes well.
Then why do you say „Nie Wein“?
That’s a palindrome. You know, when I was in hospital in Norway, trying to train my half-frozen toes, I just had too much time on my hands. I couldn’t keep calling Ada, partly because I was afraid that a man I didn’t know would answer the phone – a man I did know would have been even worse. Somewhere I read about palindromes and it became a hobby, a pastime.
What is a palindrome?
It’s a text, it can be just one word that makes the same sense when read forwards or backwards. For example, „Lagerregal“.
From this I can only conclude that if you are talking nonsense, it may be because you are pursuing your hobby.
Am I talking nonsense?
You’re the best judge of that. You’re intelligent enough for that.
